Indigo Progressive Web App Design
Indigo Group is a UK-wide business with over 40 years of experience, specialising in connected workforce services tailored to legislative requirements and delivered by industry experts.
Their services include commercial contracting, workforce engagement, and outsourced payroll, all designed to provide compliance and peace of mind across various sectors.
The Indigo Group engaged Yellow Cat Design to completely redesign the contractor onboarding process as a Progressive Web App.
The project began with the development of user personas to understand service users, their needs, and frustrations. Using Figma's FigJam, these personas informed a collaborative journey-mapping process with the product manager to define ideal user flows.
Once approved, these flows were translated into low-fidelity interactive wireframes for further refinement. After testing with potential users, the wireframes were developed into high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Angular Material, ensuring alignment with the Indigo brand.
Additionally, a design system was initiated to support consistency and efficiency in future product development.
